Riding in harmony with a horse is a gift we would like all riders – and all horses – to experience and appreciate.
Our riding lesson program is based on a learning levels curriculum. Each level teaches mounted and unmounted horsemanship skills.
Our goal is to create well rounded confident riders who are competent and empathetic equine caretakers.
Learning to ride should ALWAYS start with safety, and with knowledge, it develops into competency.
The mounted horsemanship concentrates on the rider’s ability in the saddle, resulting in a rider who is balanced, educated and confident.
Our horses depend on us, so everyone involved with them needs the knowledge to understand equine behavior and the skills to help keep them healthy and happy.
We want our wonderful lesson horses to be rewarded for their patience and generosity!
People who accept responsibility for learning how to care for horses are the best reward we can provide.
This knowledge doesn’t happen unless we make dedicated time for it.
The unmounted horsemanship focuses on the extensive body of knowledge needed to care for and work with horses successfully, testing students on horse handling, and stable management skills.
The levels curriculum gives students clear, achievable, and measurable milestones. It helps both students and parents understand requirements for advancement.
Our program involves weekly riding lessons and biweekly unmounted classes.
Everyone is welcome no matter your age, shape, size or ability!
Our focus is on beginner riders, it doesn't matter if you are 4 or 64 years old (or older), if you are a complete beginner or getting back into riding as an adult, we have a place for you.
We want to show you how comfortable you will feel learning with us and we want you to feel good about your decision to ride with us so we offer a FREE introductory lesson, so you can come out meet our horses and meet Roy.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your intro lesson!
Tracking Students Progress
The power of the Learning Levels system lies in its series of small, achievable goals.
We use a curriculum checklists to track our students' progress.
When our students can demonstrate all of the knowledge and skills required for a level they will receive a certificate of achievement and a colorful ribbon to celebrate their progress.
We Would Love To Hear From You!
