We are excited to be a part of your journey with horses!
Before your intro lesson please fill out the waiver at the following link
https://form.jotform.com/220485928723059
You can google Flying Cross Ranch for directions and it will bring you right here. We are easy to find just off the QE2 North of Lacombe, all on pavement.
Directions – #41129 RR 26-3
From QE2 take exit 431 (second Lacombe exit)
Go straight through at the intersection and across the train tracks.
Take your first left on RR 26-3
We are on the right hand side with a big silver arena and a brown house up on the hill.
Please wear boots with a heel and a helmet (Bike helmet will work to start)
Our arena is not heated so dress for the weather.
I would suggest leggings or jeans (In the cold I wear fleece lined leggings) a jacket and a vest. I would suggest gloves that are easy to grip the reins with.
When you arrive, park in the drive way by the house and walk down to the barn (Big silver arena)
Ask for Roy when you get there.
If you have any troubles finding us you can call or text Roy at 403-350-7368.
If you enjoy the intro and would like to continue with lessons just send me an email and let me know.
I will then send you an invoice for the remainder of the month and will invoice you at the beginning of each month until you let me know that you guys are done with lessons.
Message me or text Roy if you can not make it to a lesson and we will schedule a make up lesson time for you. Missed lessons are non-refundable.
We look forward to meeting you!
Please read below policies.

You must wear long pants (Jeans, Leggings, Breeches) and some kind of boots with a heel. Even rubber boots will work! Anyone under the age of 18 is required to wear a helmet. Although we strongly encourage everyone to wear one. Depending on the season we encourage you to wear something that will keep you warm but you can also still move freely.
Do we need our own horse?
No, you don’t need your own horse. You can ride one of our amazing lesson horses.
Can I come more than once a week?
Of course you can!
How long is each lesson?
Lessons are roughly one hour long.
Do we do adult lessons?
Yes! Most of our adult lessons run later in the evening, we have an amazing group of adults who take lessons with us.
I have never ridden before, does that matter?
We love beginner riders, you do not need any experience to get you started.
Are we indoor or outdoor?
We have an indoor arena in the winter that keeps us out of the elements and in the summer there are multiple places to ride outside.
English or Western?
Our barn is mostly english but Roy can teach western & roping lessons also.
