Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Flying Cross Gallop & Jockey Development Program

Program Commitment

The Flying Cross Gallop & Jockey Development Program is a limited-enrollment, mentorship-based training program. Once a spot is reserved, it cannot be easily filled by another participant. For this reason, the following refund and withdrawal policy applies.

Deposits
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the program.

  • Deposits are applied toward the total program cost.

  • Deposits are not transferable to another person or future intake.

Refunds Before Program Start
  • Withdrawal more than 30 days before the program start date:
Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.

  • Withdrawal within 30 days of the program start date:
Payments are non-refundable, as program planning, staffing, and horse allocation are already in place.

Refunds After Program Start
  • No refunds will be issued once the program has begun.

  • This includes withdrawal due to scheduling conflicts, change of interest, or personal circumstances.

The program is structured, progressive, and mentorship-based; partial participation cannot be refunded or credited.

Medical & Safety Withdrawals
  • In the event of injury or medical concern that prevents safe participation, the program will be paused or discontinued at the discretion of Flying Cross Ranch.

  • In these cases:

    • Refunds are not guaranteed

    • At our discretion, a partial credit toward a future intake may be offered

    • Medical documentation may be requested

Safety always comes first.

Program Dismissal

Flying Cross Ranch reserves the right to dismiss a participant without refund if:

  • Safety rules are not followed

  • Horse welfare is compromised

  • Repeated disregard for instruction

  • Unprofessional behaviour toward staff, horses, or other riders is displayed

Dismissal decisions are final and made in the interest of safety and program integrity.

Missed Sessions
  • Missed sessions due to illness, work, or personal conflicts are not eligible for refunds or makeup sessions.

  • Due to the nature of the program, consistency and reliability are part of the training.

Payment Plans
  • Payment plans do not change refund eligibility.

  • All scheduled payments remain due even if a participant withdraws or is dismissed after the program begins.
