What services does Flying Cross Ranch offer?

Flying Cross Ranch is a riding lesson stable located in Lacombe, Alberta, dedicated to making the joy of horses accessible to everyone, regardless of age, shape, size, or ability. Our focus is on providing beginner-friendly riding lessons in a supportive and inclusive environment.

 

Who can participate in the riding lessons?

Everyone is welcome! We offer programs for all ages and abilities, whether you’re 4 or 64, a complete beginner, or returning to riding after time away. Our goal is to create a comfortable space where anyone can learn and enjoy horses.

 

How can I start my riding journey at Flying Cross Ranch?

We offer a free introductory lesson that’s about 20 minutes long. It’s a chance to meet our horses, get to know our team, and figure out the best starting point for you.

Intro sessions are scheduled for Thursdays only at the following times:

 

Pony Time (ages 4-7): Thursdays at 6:00 PM

​Youth (ages 8-17): Thursdays at 6:00 PM

Adult (ages 18+): Thursdays at 8:30 PM

 

Once you decide to move ahead with lessons, we’ll work with you to find a regular lesson day and time that fits your schedule.

What is the cost of riding lessons?

Lessons are $45 per lesson, charged on a monthly basis. Each month includes four one-hour lessons, so the total is $180 plus GST per month.

Your monthly fee reserves your spot in our program and ensures consistent, progressive learning with the same group each week.
